Modernist wooden bookcase by Jan Teeken, Netherlands 1960s

Modernist plywood bookcase. Designed by dutch architect Jan Teeken.
Amazing details. The joints between the boards were veneered to make them invisible. It gives the corners the illusion that they were folded.
The left shelve is fixed in place for the stability of the bookcase. The four shelves on the right are adjustable in height.
The inside measurements are from left to right: 80,64 and 64cm wide.

It was sourced from the designers home and was part of his personal interior collection which he designed himself. We also have a wall mounted bookcase available and a sofa.
