Brutalist freestanding bookcase made from wood, Germany 1970s

Unique and handcrafted freestanding bookcase. Made from solid wood. the frame has rounded edges by joining pieces of wood cut in a certain angle together and creating a curve. The pieces are joined together with wood dowel connections. The is painted dark brown, almost black with wood stain. The texture of the wood still visible though the paint. The bookcase is double sided so it can be placed against a wall, free standing in a room but also as a room divider. Structurally in very good and sturdy condition. The frame and shelves have a patina consistent with age and use.
